In my role as the Design Lead of the Lifecycle team at Skyscanner, I took on the challenge of transforming of our old newsletter into Your World — a dynamic, scalable e-mail magazine, designed to resonate with the modern traveler. Post-rebranding, Your World became a pivotal brand touchpoint, being the source of inspiration for 15 million travellers across 30 markets in EMEA, APAC, and AMER regions.

Hero image
Our design journey began at the very top of the email. One of our standout design elements was a lively GIF header featuring a moving shadow.

Design Strategy
At the heart of our design strategy was an understanding of travellers' intentions and emotional states, guiding them towards the next phase in their journey.

The Your World Magazine focused on sparking the spirit of exploration and discovery, encouraging travellers to delve into planning and comparing their travel options.

Results
Our iterative and collaborative approach to design, aligned with Skyscanner’s vision of modern, sustainable travel, revitalised our marketing communication, making Your World a global source of joy, inspiration and support for travellers all over the world.

Our relaunch resulted in 923,000 unique clicks in three months, representing a 43% increase compared to the same period last year.

This achievement was made possible through the close collaboration of our Design, Growth, Engineering, and Content teams.

While Your World was a flagship project, my role at Skyscanner extended beyond that.

From retargeting emails to travel deals including flights, hotels, and car hire, I shaped and maintained the brand’s touchpoints across the user journey.
